Semi-solo trip in London {Day 2}

I used to be THE planner when it comes to holidays. I must know where I’m going, I must have an excel itinerary (there can’t be a better tool) and I must follow the itinerary. Somewhere in 2015, I realized that changed. I can’t decide if I no longer want to plan or if it’s because I’m too lazy/busy to. Anyway the point is, I no longer have the urge to have a travel plan and I woke up on Day 2 not knowing where to go.

I didn’t panic.

>> Leather Lane Market

I googled for “London best markets for food” and decided to go Leather Lane market because it’s the nearest and I’m really hungry!

Semi-solo trip in London {Day 1}

So, Jeremy was in London/Paris for his incentive trip and since I didn’t want to join the Paris leg of his trip, I spent 3 days all by myself in London! Now I know why people love solo adventures so much. It’s liberating to make decisions on your own; simple decisions like what time to wake up, what time your day should end or whether or not to desert your original itinerary for something more spontaneous

Wedding to-do list.

It just dawned on me that it’s less than six months to our wedding!

Doesn’t help that J is equally relaxed or maybe MORE relaxed than I am. We made zero progress since the day we confirmed our AD photographer and it’s starting to scare me :s

What’s not done

  • JP
  • Save-the-date
  • Photoshoot
  • Finalizing relatives’ headcount
  • Seating arrangement
  • Color theme (actually, is there really a need for this?)
  • GDL (zero conversation with J on this)
  • Food tasting (this is enjoyable so I’m not exactly worried)
  • Jiemei gifts (they are more or less done)

And these are not even the actual day items. #omg
