jb (again)

after so many days nights of inadequate sleep, i’ve officially lost the ability to concuss for more than 12 hours straight. SO SAD. i must get it back

anyway i shall start blogging about all the very backdated across-the-causeway trips. there’s jb. kl and malacca! not forgetting the recent bangkok trip and the very long-ago beijing trip which my dad is still pestering me to get the pictures developed asap. but there’s 6gb of pictures so i’m trying very hard to select only the very print-worthy ones so that i won’t spend a bomb on it

first up, JB (again)!

you’ll probably find the images very familiar because it’s with the same colleague

hello JB!

i just ate the 3 most random stuff in the past half an hour; my very much neglected raffles snowskin mooncake, a plate of fried beans-prouts (it’s actually fried kuay teow but i think there’s more bean-sprouts than kuay teow) and tu tu kueh. extremely full! but i’m still eyeing that butter cookies on the table ;d

ok so JB!

my colleague wanted to fix her car in JB so i (shamelessly HAHAH) asked if i could tag along. hahahaha she’s just 3 years older than me but she knows JB at the back of the hands- i think it will take me forever to be comfortable enough to drive there myself. maybe i should volunteer to be the driver for the next chinese new year visit, shall see!

i like this pair of huge shades very much hahaha. thank you xian!:)

we were stuck at the workshop for 2 hours. i was so bored that i almost bought sweet potatoes from one of those grocery stores beside the workshop. i mean those uncooked ones, not the already steamed ones you know

and the workshop guys only quoted her 20 ringgit for the 2 hours of work! that’s like 8sgd? no wonder she wanted to drive in to fix her car… then again! she flirted quite a bit too wahahaha

then lunch was at the nearby JUSCO shopping centre. where the parking fee for one whole day is just 1ringgit. damn cheapp.

it was a saturday but there wasn’t any weekend crowd at jusco AT ALL. feels like a weekday instead:) everything’s so slow-paced.. it’s a good break from the scary weekend crowd in SG.

it’s very cheap! there’s sth like this along clarke quay and i remember paying 50sgd for it, there was scallops though. but we only paid 60ringgit for this meal. and i really LOVEEE the mashed potatos with black pepper sauce, i’ve been nagging my colleague to drive us in again hahahaha

and how could a JB trip not be complete without a cheap slice of cake from secret recipe? hehe

jbf2

i even dabao-ed two cakes back.

my colleague brought me to this place where we had a 38ringgit foot massage (with shoulder rub too!). SO CHEAP! faith and gf, do you two rmb that we did a 40bucks massage at far east? come to think of it, it was quite expensive hor

my exciting day with my colleague didn’t end at JB. we proceeded to the F1 race!

jbf3jbf4

i think we walked 30 mins and crossed 5 bridges before we FINALLY reached our gate.

don’t need to show you all my lousy shots of the fast cars lah huh. hhaha

actually i didn’t really know what’s going on until the last few laps, and the race ended shortly after i understood. haha so sad. but i was happy that i could finally go back and rest.. can’t remember where i went the previous day but i think i only had about 4 hours of sleep.

so we walked back to bras brasah (where my colleague parked her car, and where i stay HAHA) and i forced her to cut through marina square because it was too hot. i really needed the aircon. hahaha then we started bickering for fun because we were far too tired.

though you probably won’t read this, THANK YOU L-NDA!
