kaphrunka, bangkok:) – day 2
ok i woke up really early today (at least six hours before my usual) that’s why you see the diarrhoea of posts haha.
BY THE WAY! i am going bangkok again in june! just 3d2n but i’m not complaining. most of all, (i think) the airtix and hotel accom are being paid for.. THANKS BOSS!

we woke up pretty early for the morning pratunum market but i can’t remember if we woke up too early or too late for it. you know, you gotta wake up at like 7+ in order to catch the morning shift of the pratunum market? haha the crazy things that girls do for shopping
i miss this street. but it’s ok, i’ll see it again in june. HEHE
my corn waffle. i.e. my breakfast part 1
we were all wearing the top we bought from chatuchak the day before, girssss.
we wanted to have macdonalds for breakfast but they don’t even serve breakfast:( so we decided to have black canyon, i almost bursted. should have shared with czy

see that bag that we were posing with? we were almost forced to buy that bag but i believe zhao got it at a good price lah. it seems like most store owners are really superstitious when it comes to the first business of the day
ANYWAY!
their food was quite good! especially the green curry rice that kenning had
us and our bags of clothes
then we got back to the hotel room to nua and most importantly.. to try our clothes 😀
hahaha yes if you could tell, we bought ALOT of similar items.
most of the time you have to get 2 or more items in order to get the ‘wholesale’ price so somehow we would try to convince one another to buy something from the same shop. wahahaha
.
then it was round 2 of shopping at platinum mall (again)
i must admit that my stamina for shopping has deteriorated. kept wanting to rest
platinum closes at about 6plus, so it was to central mall for dinner! (yes, food again, we are amazing)
i think it was a lot more christmasy in bangkok!
how could i not take a picture with my favourite robot?
dinner was at YUM TUM, little did we know that this restaurant specializes in the ‘healthier choices’. therefore the menu was actually pretty disappointing, imagine, there isn’t even any pad thai! even their tomyum isn’t spicy
maybe my expectations for the ‘healthier choice’ was too low. or maybe i was too hungry. but the food actually turned out to be quite nice! especially the maggi salad:) SPICY AND COLD AND the noodles were chewy. yums
look nice right?
i think i would go back there to have the maggi salad again. or maybe i should try to prepare it myself

haha when i look through the pictures, i still can’t believe i’m already a working adult who is only entitled to 15 days of annual leave per year. we really look very young
